Outdoor Ministry hike at Mountain Creek Park in Sherrills Ford, NC.

We'll hike trails : #1- Stormie Normie, #3- Sherrills Pass, and #4- Aw Shucks for a total of a 3 mile hike at the still new (as of June 2022) and beautiful Mountain Creek Park in Sherrills Ford, NC. We'll meet at WCUMC on June 3rd at 8:00am and form carpools to drive to MCP about 30 minutes from the church, or meet at MCP at the main entrance parking lot where the playground is at 8:30am. The hike is rated as easy. You'll need walking shoes, some water and an energy bar. Children and youth are welcome over the age of 8, when accompanied by an adult, and dogs on a leash are also welcome. For all who would like, we'll plan to enjoy a picnic lunch together at a picnic shelter in the park following the hike. Everyone is responsible for their own lunch & drink.
