Williamson's Chapel Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayers for comfort, peace, caring, healing and love are said before, during and after creating each shawl. These shawls are given to those experiencing serious illness, cancer, grief, loss, emotional and spiritual needs, and those needing more care as they enter nursing homes. Prayer Shawls are also given at times of great joy, when a baby is baptized into the church. Contact Rev. Mark Pitts if you would like more information about obtaining a prayer shawl.
Prayer Shawl Team
Prayer Shawl Team - 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8pm | B203
Please note that the Prayer Shawl group will meet on the second Tuesdays only in Nov. & Dec.
The Prayer Shawl team is a ministry of prayer, and love through knitting or crocheting shawls. Although WCUMC sponsors this ministry you do not have to be a member to participate. This ministry is open to anyone who would like to share their talents of knitting/crocheting (or would like to learn). You may join us any time, new team members are always welcome. If you do not know how to knit or crochet, there are team members who are willing to teach you.
