Joe Precht is an Alabamian by birth and a North Carolinian by the grace of God. He is a lifelong Methodist and earned his M.Div. from Duke Divinity School in 2016. Having served in a wide array of contexts––from the University of Florida to the Democratic Republic of Congo to small town North Carolina––he is continually awed by the variety of God’s grace. Joe out kicked his coverage in 2013 when he married his college sweetheart, Mackenzie. Together with their dog, Rory, they enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, canoeing––anything that gets them outdoors. In April they welcomed their first child, Lillian. She enjoys eating and sleeping. In high school, kneeling at the Communion table, Joe received his call to pastoral ministry. His deepest desire is to bring others “to know Christ and the power of his resurrection.” He looks forward to pursuing that desire with Williamson’s Chapel as the Associate Pastor of Worship, Witness, and Young Adults.
