Phase Parenting Online Discussion Board
We are working hard to create convenient ways for parents to get the information and support they need on their parenting journey. As part of this endeavor, we have created an online discussion board through the online platform called "Slack" - this can be used on your computer and they have an app for your mobile device. This is totally FREE and a great app/platform to use that is very user friendly.
To join this group click HERE. Parents of kids ages newborn through college are invited to join the conversation. All of our Grow Team staff are members of this board and we are all here to answer your questions or give you the support you need. And, other parents out there are ready to do the same! Hope you'll join us!
Phase Parenting Ministry
Parenting is tough. There are challenges in every stage of a child's life - different & evolving
challenges. And, those of us who are Jesus followers want to raise our kids in a Christian home. Moms & dads hope their children will grow up with the kind of faith that transforms their decisions, enriches their relationships, and leads to a better future.
But how can we do that effectively?
Sadly, in spite of the best hopes and intentions, many kids still grow up
and miss experiencing God’s unconditional love and forgiveness.
Maybe they miss it because we missed something about…
That’s why WCUMC is launching an exciting new ministry and support system just for parents.
We are calling this "Phase" and we will be utilizing materials from the Just a Phase Project
as well as other top notch ministry materials for parents. Learn more at justaphase.com.
Why are we starting this ministry?
So parents don’t miss what’s happening during the critical phases of growing up.
So parents can connect God’s love and forgiveness to the heart of the next generation.
