Retreats & Missions
Retreats are a special part of our students' spiritual growth. They are special because they allow us to focus more on a particular subject while having a ton of fun doing it. They are important to help further our growth with Christ. They also help us grow closer to each other and form lasting friendships. Some of our retreats during the year include the Confirmation (spring), Middle School (fall), High School (fall), and Breakthru (winter).
We are serious about being people of actions, not just words. We want our youth to use their gifts to change the world, whether that is physically or relationally. Our goal through our re:Act mission trips is to allow our youth the opportunity to love others in a variety of places and in a variety of ways. Over the past few years, our youth have traveled to Washington DC, Chicago, Wilmington, and Denver to share the love of Christ with others through physical work projects and relational programming. This past summer graduating seniors also traveled to Belize.
We also serve our local community in powerful ways. Our goal is to make sure we are doing a project locally every month, whether we physically perform the task or collect items for donation. Previous projects have included The Mooresville Christian Mission, The Children's Homes of Iredell County, Habitat for Humanity, and The Mooresville Soup Kitchen.
