This Opioid Use seminar known as the PACT360 program provides information to parents and other concerned citizens about the real dangers of medicine abuse and the actions that can be taken to prevent and respond to it. The class will include a video and will be followed by a discussion time.
This is why we think this is important ...
Approximately 70% of those who misuse prescription medications
for the first time get it from their parents or friends parent’s medicine cabinet.
Accidental prescription medication and drug overdose deaths
has become the Number 1 cause of accidental death in our nation.
In 2016, Iredell County Emergency Departments reported
559 medication or prescription drug overdose visits.
Dinner is available on Sunday at 5:30pm in the fellowship hall prior to the start of the seminar.

We are so thankful to have the opportunity to assist parents in the spiritual development of their students. We want to be a resource and a support system for parents as we see these students develop a lasting faith. Check us out on social media to keep up with what is going on and look there for links to helpful articles for you. We also want our student ministry to be a place where your student feels safe and where you feel safe leaving them. We thank you for trusting us in this way. On the left you will find important documents that we use in our student ministries. Please note that we require all volunteers in our student ministries to complete a background check and safe sanctuaries training.
