Acres of Hope International | Information & Opportunities
Northern Uganda was terrorized for years by the "Lord's Resistance Army" and has quickly become an epicenter for HIV/Aids. Living conditions are very poor, and thousands of children have lost one or both of their parents. However, Acres of Hope is growing and gaining ground on providing for the needs of Uganda's most war-torn children.
Williamson's Chapel has been an active participant in the ministries at Acres of Hope from the beginning. We established a trusting relationship with with Pastor Geoffrey over 5 years ago and continue to work hand in hand with he and his staff. We seek to let the locals on the ground lead and have an open heart to serve as needed. Our goal is to continue to build strong relationships, contribute financially, and support their sustainability efforts.
Since 2011, Acres of Hope has grown into a spirit filled, functioning school and orphanage. Five pod homes and three schools building exist with more on the way. Acres of Hope is not only transforming children; it is also transforming their community! To learn more about Acres of Hope International please click HERE.
