WC Kids Policies & Information

Sick Child Policy

Our goal at Williamson's Chapel is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children. We encourage the use of hand sanitizer as children are dropped off and prior to handling any food items. We also use disinfectant spray on toys and in the classrooms.

We ask you, the parents and guardians to help us in our efforts. In the event your child is feeling under the weather we ask, in consideration of the other children, that he/she be allowed to recover at home. If your child has any of the following symptoms he/she will not be permitted to participate in WC Kidz events, childcare or programming...

-Yellow or greenish discharge from the eyes or nose
-Heavy coughing or excessive sneezing
-A temperature over 100 (Must be fever free for 24 hours)
-An earache or stomachache
-Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
-Any contagious rashes or infections
-Sore throat, unless strep has been ruled out

Additionally, if your child develops any of these symptoms in our care we will call on you to pick up your child. If your child is not feeling well, but lacks any specific symptoms, please keep them home. This is best for your child and for the other children he/she may come in contact with.

Safe Sanctuary Policy

Williamson's Chapel is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children, youth, and volunteers who participate in ministries and activities sponsored by the church. Our Safe Sanctuary Policy statements reflect our congregation's commitment to preserving this church as a holy place of safety and protection for all who would enter and as a place in which all people can experience the love of God through relationships with others. Safe Sanctuaries training and a background check is mandatory for all volunteers who work with children and/or youth. To read a copy of our Safe Sanctuary Policy click here.
