The Alzheimer's Tsunami

Alzheimer's disease affects millions of Americans and their families. If you or someone you love is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, are you prepared to help them physically, emotionally and financially? To help provide a better understanding of the effects of
Alzheimer's disease, this presentation covers several themes, including:
- Understanding Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
- Planning for the costs associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
- Preparing and executing legal, financial and medical documents.
- Resources available for patients, caregivers and families.

A light supper will be served. Reservations are required by Wednesday, November 1st.
To RSVP or for more info, please contact Rev. Mark Pitts, markpitts@willchapumc.org

jackbroylesSpecial speaker for the evening will be Jack Broyles,

Jack Broyles joined the Board of Directors of the Greater Dallas Chapter
of the Alzheimer’s Association in 2006 after losing his mother to the disease.
His mission is to educate families so they are better equipped to help
a loved one that has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Jack is the son of former college football coach, Frank Broyles.

Support Ministry

Supporting our members and neighbors in our community is a large part of the ministry of Williamson's Chapel. Our church hosts several outside groups who utilize our facility for their support group meetings, but we also have our own support groups that are provided for those who have specific needs. Please look through all of the ministry support groups we offer and see if there is a way we can support you in your time of need.
