Welcome to Williamson's Chapel Preschool
About Our Weekday Preschool Program:
- Hours for all classes are 9-12:30.
- The preschool provides a small snack for all children.
- All children will bring a lunch from home to eat during our preschool day.
- WCP follows Iredell-Statesville Schools calendar for teacher workdays and holidays.
- All children entering a 3-year-old class must be fully potty-trained and wearing underwear (no pull-ups or diapers).
- We are a Christian play-based preschool. Curriculum is provided for handwriting and early literacy in our 4-year-old and Transitional Kindergarten classes.
- Our Parent Handbook is available here so you can learn more about our program, policies and procedures.
- Feel free to give us a call at 704-660-8268 or email preschool@willchapumc.org if you have additional questions or would like to schedule a tour.
2025-2026 Preschool Registration Information
Registration opens online on January 6th and closes January 22nd.
For Prospective Families:
- If you're interested in becoming part of the WCP family, please complete the Prospective Family Registration Form and pay a $10 per child nonrefundable wait list fee.
- All prospective families will be notified of class placement or wait list position by January 28th via email.
- If you choose to accept your seat, the remaining registration fee of $75 per child will be due by February 5th and is nonrefundable.
- Once the registration fee is paid in full, your child's seat is secure.
- Additional enrollment paperwork will be mailed in the spring.
For Currently Enrolled Families:
- All currently enrolled families (including incoming siblings) are guaranteed a seat for the 2025-2026 school year, so you will pay the nonrefundable $85 registation fee per child at the time of registration.
- When registration closes on January 22nd, all families will be added to a random number lottery and placed into classes using the lottery process.
- Families will be notified of class placement by January 28th via email.
- Enrollment paperwork will be distributed at school.
For All Families:
- Every effort is made, but no guarantees are given, to place children in their first or second preferred class options. If a child is not placed in their first choice class, he/she will be placed on an in-house waiting list for that class.
- We ensure that siblings are placed into classes that meet on coordinating days for your convenience.
